Broomball Season Returns NEXT Winter!
If we say ice, shoes, and running what do you think of? Uh oh, right? Not us. We think of broomball! If you haven`t played Broomball before, think of it as a combination of ice hockey and floor hockey, but played with brooms and without skates!
Sports Monster will be providing the sticks, balls and helmets - so all you have to do is show up (you do need mouthguards too). Although many full teams register, Sports Monster encourages individuals to register as we create new groups of friends each season. This is sure to be a great time.
What is broomball?
It's kind of like hockey... with a few exceptions:
- No skates
- 18-minute halves
- 6 players on the ice (4 men/2 women)
- Equipment provided
- Top 4 teams make playoffs
- Paid and trained referees included in cost
- Prizes for championship team include t-shirts or trophies
